With almost a entire year of resting, the Mirage Casino and Hotel’s famous volcano will be resurrected better and more magnificent than in the past. The well-known Las Vegas megaresort is pulling out all the stops to attract as many sightseers as possible to explore their renovations.

This New Year’s Eve, the daredevil Robbie Knievel will try a motorbike jump over the Mirage Casino’s artificial volcano. This feat will commemorate the finale of a 3-year transformation of the Vegas casino-hotel. During this period, the Sin City hotel-casino has put in about $110 million renovating their accommodations and suites.

The upcoming New Year’s Eve stunt is scheduled to be Knievel’s last in the U.S.. The act will last for five minutes and feature explosives and a modern music soundtrack. The music for the soundtrack has been performed by Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. Robbie Knievel is the son of the late Evil Knievel-the first and most celebrated daredevils.

The Vegas Mirage was opened in 1989 by Sin City tycoon Steve Wynn and was deemed as LV’s 1st megaresort. This improvement is one of many on the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip as of late. The casino-hotel expects that this presentation will draw a great number of visitors to the LV hotel-casino. The thought behind the upgrade is to do better than other massive LV hotel and casinos like the Bellagio casino-hotel.

The LV event the majority of boxing fans have been eagerly waiting for is coming very soon. Oscar “Golden Boy” De La Hoya will battle one of the world’s current best boxers, Manny Pacquiao. This competition is on schedule for Sat. December 6th in the MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Surely there has been much talk in Sin City regarding this boxing match. De La Hoya has dropped down to 147 lbs. to fight as a welterweight, and some folks say that Oscar might not be as durable since the weight drop. Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao has already boxed one time as a lightweight and has a desire to continue in the welterweight class. Pacquiao is also the current lightweight title-holder , and is judged by many authorities to be the best fighter of these times.

This is Oscar De La Hoya’s first trip back to Las Vegas, Nevada for a match ever since he competed with Floyd Mayweather Jr. last year. This bout is certain to be a sell-out for the MGM Arena Las Vegas. Vacationers to LV have dwindled recent times, but Las Vegas, Nevada events like this one really have a way of drawing in many people.

This bout will undoubtedly be one for the records as it puts together the two best boxers of our time in a 12 round welterweight bout. Oscar De La Hoya v. Manny Pacquiao tickets are selling out fast. If you see only one Vegas event all year, this is without question the LV Event to enjoy.

Enthusiasts of next year’s Consumer Electronics Show Las Vegas could be in for a nice change in their plans. As a rule, near this season it is almost unheard of to come across a vacant Sin City hotel anywhere in Sin City, but the approaching Consumer Electronics Show Las Vegas, Nevada is proving to be a whole different ballgame. A large part of the best hotel casinos on the Vegas Strip have astoundingly decreased their room rates at a maximum of 20%.

Practically 100,000 people invade Las Vegas each and every year to explore the innovative gadgets displayed by the Consumer Electronics Association. The LV event is held from January 8-11 with the majority of the events being presented in the Venetian Resort and Hotel and the Sands Vegas. This proves to be a season when finding a suitable room price turns out to be practically a hopeless job.

The C.E.A. stated last week that many of the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip hotel casinos have reduced their hotel room rates, a great number of them by a pretty large percentage. If you have already made your reservation, it might be a good idea to recheck prices on Vegas hotels. A good example of this is: the Tropicana hotel casino has lowered their room rate by nearly 17%. Most of the LV hotels and resorts in use near the Consumer Electronics Show, have begun offering individual C.E.S. prices to the fans of the LV event.

Many experts state that this decrease in Vegas resort hotel rates is because of the fact that most of the electronics businesses have had to lower the amount of workers they are dispatching to the event. This obliges the Las Vegas, Nevada hotels to decrease their room rates to invite more vacationers to their hotel casinos for the duration of this show. Others propose that it is because of the existing scarcity of vacationers to Sin City in contrast to years ago.
